Lucy tells the sea is a series of documentary films, for the children from 7 years. (10 x 26 minutes). A coproduction Chromatiques and Oceanica Prod. Lucy is a curious little firefly. In each of her films, she leads children to discover the mysteries of nature and technology around us. Lucy has a big experience of the scientific popularization and has already led numerous investigations. Her films are broadcasted on the television in France and abroad, in DVD, on Internet and on IPAD. Today Lucy is very concerned about the state of the seas and oceans: overfishing, pollution, global warming.... But the sea and oceans represent 2/3 of the planet and the main part of water ressources. They are known still very badly, but represent a huge potential for the future of the humanity: food, medical, energy....
So Lucy sets out to discover the seas and oceans ... All aboard!

During five weeks, a scientific mission on the topic of acoustic communication in pinnipeds is conducted by a team from the CNRS, on the west coast of Greenland. This mission is led by Isabelle CHARRIER and Thierry AUBIN, both researchers at the CNRS. In partnership with the French Polar Institute Paul-Emile Victor, Océanopolis and National Geographic, the team of Oceanica Prod has made the images, photos and videos in this mission.
